Así es estaremos estrenando nuevas funciones en el 2022 aunque recientemente hemos evidenciado nuevas funciones como la creación de
Stickers desde la versión de escritorio.

Las funciones que más se esperan o se han especulado son:

  • Conexión de múltiples dispositivos: hace poco la aplicación lanzó el servicio de conexión múltiple, con el cual un usuario puede conectarse a su cuenta hasta en cuatro dispositivos diferentes y de manera simultánea, incluso sin conexión a internet. Esta función ya está disponible para los usuarios beta.
  • Ocultar la última conexión a contactos específicos: de acuerdo con el portal mencionado, Meta está actualizando la configuración de la privacidad, de tal forma que se pueda elegir quién puede ver algunos datos como la última conexión y la foto de perfil.
  • Límite de tiempo para eliminar un mensaje: hasta el momento una persona puede eliminar un mensaje enviado en un lapso de 7 minutos, pero con el cambio que está desarrollando Meta, se busca ampliar ese límite.
  • Instagram Reels: si bien es cierto que en los estados se pueden reproducir videos, la aplicación trabaja para que se puedan visualizar los reels de Instagram directamente en WhatsApp.
